exoIQ GmbH was founded in Hamburg in 2017 and develops intelligently designed exoskeleton support systems for industrial workplaces. Its origins lie in a university research project at Helmut Schmidt University, which has been conducting intensive research on exoskeletons since 2014. Since autumn 2023, exoIQ's first product has been on the market: the S700 active shoulder exoskeleton. It is the world's first active exoskeleton designed for professional use, specifically relieving strain on the arm, neck, and shoulder muscles. The S700 can be adjusted without tools to different body sizes and shapes and offers several support modes for various tasks.
