The traditional company Sander has stood for innovative load securing for more than 160 years. The tear-resistant Sanderband® is a high-quality and user-friendly alternative to conventional steel straps. Sander edge protectors are available in numerous versions, so that any goods can be packed securely for transportation. What all Sander products have in common is that they are tailored precisely to the requirements of customers from almost all branches of industry. The use of edge protectors and protective corner brackets has the following main functions: Protecting the edges of packaged goods from damage caused by load securing equipment or during storage and transport, formatting and stabilizing packaging units, forming sub-units within a packaging unit, reinforcing and increasing the stackability of packaged goods of the same format or type Sander profile - the classic: - Fully wrapped in the same or different paper and angled Smooth and slightly rounded outer edges - The edge protection profiles are cut to length by machine - Common leg dimensions are 35 x 35 to 100 x 100 mm, common thicknesses 2 to 10 mm - Option of short lengths (< 600 mm) and short pieces (100-150 mm) also in automatic quality as well as in defined and specified lengths (L-articles) - Option with outer cover layer made of white-colored paper. - Option with unequal leg dimensions (maximum possible leg ratio 2:1). leg ratio 2:1). - Options with adhesion points on the inside or punched tuck-in flap
Strongboard

Sander Waterproof Nature edge protection is the reliable solution for all transport and storage conditions where moisture is a factor. Whether outdoors, in cold storage facilities, or during transport in high humidity, this edge protection remains dimensionally stable and reliably protects sensitive goods. The combination of special paper layers with a moisture-resistant adhesive ensures maximum stability. At the same time, Waterproof Nature is 100% recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly alternative for anyone who values safe and sustainable load securing.
Customised Solutions
Self-adhesive edge protection: • Optionally available as self-adhesive • Adheres reliably to the packaged goods and does not come off • The inside of the profile angles is equipped with caterpillar-shaped adhesive points • Adhesive strength ensures that the edge protection angle is held securely on the product • Various adhesive strengths can be selected as required Protective corner angle: • Edge protection profiles are precisely cut to length and punched out and compressed at one or more points with or without a button using a punch • Additional corner protection through compressed corner bulges • Punched-in button serves as a closure and prevents unfolding • Available as half or full frames, with or without button punching Edge protection profile with clamping tab: • Solid cardboard edge protection profiles available with a tab punched out of one side • The inwardly curved tab can be clamped between two packages and fixed vertically to the edge of the load • Easy to attach by one person • Ideal alternative to self-adhesive edge protection • Positioning of the tab according to individual customer requirements Display angle with slit and break-off angle: • Prepared for special applications such as reinforcing sales displays by sawing into the ends according to customer requirements Angle with break-off aid: • One leg is slit in one or more places using a saw • The user can break off the angle on site at the slits and adjust it to the required length Hinged frame: • Combination of edge protection profiles cut to length and rivets placed at the ends • Protection of the upper edges of the package and secure formatting of the top layer of the package for large quantities of loose, palletized products • Easy to use: Can be unfolded and attached by one person • Secure hold: The frames cannot fall off the package • Individual production according to customer requirements All edge protection angles are available with customer-specific printing.
Sanderband® KB
Sanderband® is a single-use load-securing strap for strapping and securing medium to heavy packages. It consists of multi-twisted, high-strength polyester yarns that are bonded together lengthwise to form a versatile strap. The Sanderband® system comprises - various Sanderband® types, "steel-strength" textile straps made of polyester - Metal buckles for secure fastening - handy and robust strap tensioning devices - as well as practical accessories, such as portable or mobile tape dispensers or push-through aid Sanderband® - Kraftband (KB): - Cold-bonded thread structure tape made from polyester threads - Suitable for strapping, lashing, tying down, securing - Easy and quick to handle, can be retightened at any time if required. - Tensile strengths from 380-2000 daN depending on type, strap widths from 11.4-33.5 mm - Shock-absorbing, high dynamic shock reserve - As strong as steel strapping, but only 20% as heavy - Cost-effective disposable alternative to steel strapping, wires, ropes or belts - No risk of injury when opening, easy disposal - Closure means are metal buckles of the types MS (galvanized) and MSP (phosphated)
Sanderband BP®
Sanderband® is a single-use load-securing strap for strapping and securing medium to heavy packages. It consists of multi-twisted, high-strength polyester yarns that are bonded together lengthwise to form a versatile strap. The Sanderband® system comprises - various Sanderband® types, "steel-strength" textile straps made of polyester - Metal buckles for secure fastening - handy and robust strap tensioning devices - as well as practical accessories, such as portable or mobile tape dispensers or push-through aid Sanderband® - baler belt (BP): - Sanderband® BP are cold-glued thread structure belts made from polyester threads - Suitable for lighter strapping applications in automatic chamber balers chamber baling presses - The more cost-effective hotmelt strap types are often used here - Tensile strengths from 245 to 460 daN depending on type, strap widths from 7.3 to 13.8 mm - Shock-absorbing (elastic), high dynamic shock reserve (elongation at break of approx. 13 %) - Cost-effective disposable alternative to wires or cords - No risk of injury when opening, easy disposal - Closure in the machines is achieved almost exclusively by knotting

Sanderband® is a single-use load-securing strap for strapping and securing medium to heavy packages. It consists of multi-twisted, high-strength polyester yarns that are bonded together lengthwise to form a versatile strap. The Sanderband® system comprises - various Sanderband® types, "steel-strength" textile straps made of polyester - Metal buckles for secure fastening - handy and robust strap tensioning devices - as well as practical accessories, such as portable or mobile tape dispensers or push-through aid Sanderband® - Kraftband Hotmelt (TopStrap) - Sanderband® TopStrap is a hotmelt-bonded thread structure tape made from polyester threads that are bonded with a hot-melt adhesive (hotmelt) - Suitable for strapping, lashing, tying down, securing - Easy and quick to handle, can be retightened at any time if required - Tensile strengths from 380 to 540 daN depending on type, strap widths from 11.7 to 16.8 mm - Shock-absorbing, high dynamic shock reserve - Cost-effective disposable alternative to Sanderband® KB when lower tear forces are required - No risk of injury when opening, easy disposal - Closure with surface-treated buckles (type MS - galvanized, type MSP phosphated)

Sanderband rPET
CUSTOMER COMPANIES THAT RELY ON SANDER rPET BAND RECEIVE AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PRODUCT INNOVATION ON THE GERMAN MARKET FOR LOAD SECURING. At Sander, we have been pursuing a consistent sustainability strategy for years. We produce load securing products that meet the high quality standards of our customers and closely combine innovation and environmental awareness. For the new, sustainably produced Sander strap, we use yarn made from 100% recycled PET bottles and PET packaging. By using recycled PET yarn instead of the usual polyester yarns, we are not only using a product that is more environmentally friendly in itself, but we are also demonstrably using much less CO2 in the production of the sander tape. In this way, we significantly improve our CO2 footprint, as well as that of our customers who secure their cargo with SANDERBAND® rPET.
