Papair - the BubbleWrap made of paper
Papair is a start-up from Hanover. We develop innovative technologies for the production of sustainable packaging materials. PapairWrap, the bubble wrap made of paper, is our first product. It is produced locally in Rethem an der Aller (Lower Saxony) using an innovative and patented manufacturing process that conserves resources. PapairWrap is available on rolls in widths of 350 and 800 mm. No plastics or adhesives are used in the manufacturing process, making it a mono-material with excellent recycling properties.
PapairWrap is the basis for other packaging materials such as cut sheets or padded bags in flexible sizes. A water and oil-repellent surface coating extends the range of applications.
All products are available as 1-ply or 2-ply versions. We also offer different qualities of up to 100% recycled paper.

PapairWrap - The sustainable alternative to plastic bubble wrap PapairWrap is the innovative bubble wrap made of paper that can be used as a 1:1 replacement for conventional plastic variants in most cases. ✔ simply paper, fully recyclable PapairWrap does not require any plastics or adhesives and is fully recyclable in the existing recycling system. It already fulfils the recyclability requirements of the new EU packaging regulation (PPWR). ✔ Efficient & cost-saving When analysing the total cost of ownership (TCO), the sustainable packaging solution performs convincingly. Up to 15% of the TOC can be saved, particularly due to the lower disposal costs. ✔ Maximum protection with less material The special arrangement and shape of the bubbles ensure flexibility and a high cushioning effect. No additional filling material is required. PapairBag - the paper bubble bag
PapairBag – The sustainable paper cushioning bag PapairBags are the environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic cushioning bags. Made from PapairWrap, they offer optimum protection for individual and spare parts or workpieces – without any additional cushioning material. ✔ Made exclusively from paper, completely recyclable PapairBags are made entirely from paper, are free from plastics and adhesives, and can be easily disposed of in the waste paper bin. This means that they already comply with the requirements of the EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR). ✔ Efficient & cost-saving By choosing sustainable materials, companies can reduce their total cost of ownership (TCO). At the same time, they also offer an environmentally friendly and material-saving alternative as interlayers in pallet-sized packaging processes. PapairFill

The sturdy and flexible cushioning pads are made of paper and filled with shredded cardboard.
