FLEX IMPACT® safety barriers
FLEX IMPACT® safety barriers provide protection against collisions with forklifts and other vehicles. They are necessary in high-traffic environments or locations in which heavy loads are moved or transported, such as warehouses, production halls and airports. Tests show that this type of safety barrier can withstand impacts up to 50.10 kJ. What is unique about our safety barriers is that, even in the event of a collision, the anchor points stay secured to the floor and the flexible elements regain their original shape. The safety barriers' modular design enables your company to install our safety systems one zone at a time, or to expand its safety systems at a later date.
Column protection
Column protection prevents costly and structural damage to columns, posts, and pillars in warehouses, production halls, airports, and car parks. They increase safety in industrial environments. Boplan column protection is an attractive, versatile, and highly visible solution for ensuring safe traffic flow in the workplace and minimising costly damage to freestanding columns in industrial buildings. This type of protection minimises the impact force with which colliding vehicles can damage columns. Thanks to their absorbency, they virtually eliminate the risk of damage and ensure the structural integrity of your columns. With a wide range of diameters available, the most appropriate form of column protection can be installed in any working environment.
Rack protection
Collisions between forklifts and racks are among the most common workplace accidents in warehouses. Rack protection from Boplan's FLEX IMPACT® family will not only save you from significant damage to your warehouse, but it will also help you prevent personal injury. Warehouse workers are often under time pressure and have to manoeuvre quickly in a confined space. A collision with a rack can happen quickly. Installing rack protection reduces the risk of damage in the event of a collision. Our rack protection is made from a highly energy-absorbing and flexible material. After a collision, the rack protection returns to its original shape and retains its appearance and properties, leaving your racks intact.
DOCK GATE: PREVENT ACCIDENTS AT LOADING DOCKS
Loading and unloading at loading docks inevitably involves risks; that goes without saying. For example, employees are at risk of ending up in the loading bay before or after unloading, and a forklift driver’s steering error may damage the electric doors. Enter the Dock Gate! A loading dock is always a hive of activity: warehouse staff use it for stacking, loading and unloading with the support of forklift trucks bringing in or taking out the goods. It is at times like this that employees may accidentally step into the void of the loading dock or lose their balance and fall in. Loading docks are made entirely out of concrete. It doesn't take much to be out of action for weeks after a fall like that. These events are painful to the employee of course, but also to the employer, as a temporary replacement must be found and the logistics process often suffers delays. That is why prevention is better than cure. The Dock Gate is the perfect solution. This safety gate with a double rail system guarantees optimal fall protection and provides a very safe working environment to staff and pedestrians in loading zones. The safety gate is equipped with a hydraulic auxiliary mechanism for smooth and easy operation. Its fall protection system also protects your doorways. The Dock Gate has few components, which reduces the installation time to a minimum.
TEDDY PRO - PROTECTIVE BUMPERS TO PREVENT INJURIES OR DAMAGE
TEDDY PRO is a flexible and shock-absorbing profile made from PU you can use for numerous applications. These profiles allow perfectly to protect employees against corners and sharp edges of racks or other constructions. In addition, this kind of wall bumper offers protection to minimize damage caused by carts or trolleys. This way you not only avoid injuring your staff, you also keep the infrastructure and your products dent-free and scratch-free. There are 4 TEDDY PRO models, all in 1-metre and 2-metre versions. There is a flat model (TEDDY PRO FL40) and 3 variants for different types of angles: a round model for corners (TEDDY PRO AR25), another round model for bars (TEDDY PRO RR30) and a triangular model (TEDDY PRO EV19). The TEDDY PRO’s black-and-yellow pattern immediately stands out, which also helps to prevent contact. All TEDDY PRO products are available as single units or in packs of 5, 10 or 50. The TEDDY PRO is easy to apply permanently to a wide range of structures and materials. Its convenient adhesive strip at the bottom allows you to secure the PU strip on steel, concrete and plastic surfaces without the need for any tools. teddy pro profiles can withstand temperatures from -40°C (-40°F) to +100°C (+212°F). The material can easily be manipulated or trimmed to the desired length. It can be applied to and around the smallest corners and edges of steel racks, concrete walls or columns and many other structural elements. You will achieve a hugely appreciated result with very little effort. TEDDY PRO significantly reduces the risk of injuries to humans and scratches and dents in materials, and this in turn will have a positive effect on the working atmosphere.
Floor marking tape
Boplan offers a wide range of strong floor marking tapes under the name LINE PLAN. The set of floor markings, line markings, and pictograms surpasses all other floor marking tape systems on the market. While the tape used in most alternative floor marking systems tears off at the slightest abrupt forklift manoeuvre or even when people rub their feet on it, LINE PLAN offers unparalleled resistance to all types of friction. LINE PLAN floor marking tape provides a clearly defined safe working environment, giving your company a professional look while protecting your employees. LINE PLAN floor and line markings are suitable for all types of surfaces and applications, including concrete floors, walkways, corridors, work zones, traffic zones, warehouse floors, etc.
New column protectors
Our new column protectors with a height of 19.7" (500 mm) ensure the protection of columns on which fire extinguishers, electrical boxes, or similar products are mounted. This upgraded series will be available in diameters of 20.5" (200 mm) and 24.4" (300 mm), in Signal Yellow and Traffic Red.
Soft Column Cover
The BOPLAN® SOFT COLUMN COVER with its 50 mm thick impact-absorbing foam layer is designed to protect columns against impacts from lighter traffic and to prevent people from being injured by sharp edges of steel columns or other hard metal pillars. With a height of 1800 mm and a striking yellow color, the SOFT COLUMN COVER guarantees optimal visibility. Installation is quick and easy with Velcro® strips. The water and UV resistant, hard-wearing PVC covering is easy to clean. In addition, 3 different diameters are available for a perfect fit.
Axes gate
The AXES GATE is an industrial safety gate for fall protection or safe machine access that will exceed your expectations in terms of safety, sustainability and cost-effectiveness. AXES GATES have been used worldwide for 20 years in the harshest and most challenging environments, such as the chemical industry and offshore drilling rigs. They are highly resistant to harsh weather conditions, extremely salty environments and highly corrosive chemicals. The safety gate's design, composition and features make it suitable for any application in any industry. The AXES GATE is made of Boplan High Impact Thermoplastic Engineered Polymer (HI-TEP) and has an unrivalled service life. The hinge has been tested for over 150,000 cycles. This corresponds to opening and closing the gate 20 times a day for 20 years. Thanks to our innovative design, installation is a breeze and requires few tools and little effort. The AXES GATE can open in two directions and can easily be adjusted to the desired size.
Bollards
The Boplan Bollard Range is a comprehensive selection of protective bollards, engineered to meet a wide range of needs. Each bollard in this series, including the BO125L, BO170B, BO200R, BO200F, and BO250T, is designed with specific strengths and impact resistance to ensure there is a perfect solution for every requirement, ranging from light 2,5 kJ (kilojoules) impacts to extremely heavy impacts up to 24,1 kJ. Additionally, you benefit from a wide range of options, colors, and heights that allow for customization to suit specific environments and aesthetic preferences. The patented modular build-up provides unprecedented impact protection. The bollards are made from a special high-performance polymer optimized to withstand multiple impacts. The deformation that occurs after each crash disappears as the vehicle rebounds. This eliminates the need for post-impact repairs.
